The University of Northern BC will be receiving 230 thousand dollars to provide training to students in the north. It's part a 5 point 2 million dollars in province-wide funding announced today by the BC Ministry of Advanced Education. UNBC is expected to use the funds to offer a G.I.S. course and a Project Management course. The programming is intended for unemployed and low skilled British Columbians.
