The Steelworkers Union has reached four-year contracts with the Hampton Group in Burns Lake, the Conifex Group in Mackenzie and Fort St. James and Lakeland Mills in Prince George.
President of Local 1-424 Frank Everitt says the contracts include two percent wage increases in the third and fourth years of the contract as well as a chance to profit-sharing with the mills.
