A three-member panel is hearing concerns from members of the public on the proposed Enbridge pipeline between Alberta and Kitimat.
Wayne Salewski with the BC Wildlife Federation has some concerns about the project. He says they've looked at the Enbridge pipeline spill in Michigan and compared it to what would happen with similar spills in rivers like the Pine, Skeena and Stewart. He says the results would be catastrophic, and that's an obvious concern.
Alan Roth with Enbridge says many of the concerns expressed right now will be addressed over time so that these types of events don't occur.
