Strong single detached housing starts are helping the Prince George region stay on par with 2009 starts,accounting for 28 of the 40 overall housing starts ,and nearly 80 percent of the 136 year to date home starts . CMHC Northern BC Market Analyst Serena Teakles , says Prince George has reached a stable stage in terms of industry and development ,allowing for home construction to maintain a steady pace.
