Few details are being released at this time, but Fort St. James RCMP have confirmed they, along with RCMP's North District Major Crimes Unit have secured an area near the community and launched an investigation into the discovery of suspicious findings. Sgt. Rob Vermeulen says police were led to a vacant lot on Lower Road on the Nak'azdli reserve yesterday. They immediately cordoned off the area and began an investigation. Police will not confirm the investigation is tied to the recent disappearance of a Fort St. James man. Fribjon Bjornson was last seen last month. He was reportedly living with another person on the Nak'azdli reserve.
