A proposed Vancouver Street nightclub has people on both sides sounding off. Some businesses in the area are concerned about potential vandalism and dangers. Head instructor at Ms. Lorea's College of Esthetics says she is concerned for the safety of her students, most of whom are young women. She says they have nightclasses which keep some students there until 9:30 p.m. or later. Ted Coole says he was happy to hear concerns at last night's open house on the issue. He says they plan to address those concerns with a good neighbour policy. He says the nightclub would be a good investment in downtown.
