Calling Northern BC the future of the province and the country ,Premier Gordon Campbell calls the Northern Economic Summit underway in Prince George the perfect venue to go beyond the old-school policies in dealing with looming challenges in the economy . He says the global stage has changed significantly in recent times, and the challenges will only continue ,especially on the eve of budget discussions. But after looking beyond our boundaries ,Campbell says there is no better place to live right now than BC, and for this region , forestry and energy present the greatest opportunities to weather the storm .
