2 snowmobilers are missing after an avalanche yesterday near McBride. One confirmed survivor managed to escape Mount Renshaw and was located this morning by other snowmobilers. Current weather conditions are restricting access to the site where the other two have yet to be found. Once experts confirm the area is stable, search efforts can continue. RCMP are asking the public to stay off Mount Renshaw, McBride RCMP are in the process of closing the mountain. Names have not been released. RCMP are asking all outdoor enthusiasts to use extreme caution when enjoying the BC wilderness.
