Tomorrow from 8:30 to 9:30 in the evening Earth Hour takes place around the world.

 The goal of the event is to conserve energy for global change. BC Hydro is encouraging people to turn off any unnecessary lights and electronics. Last year, Earth Hour saw an overall reduction of two-percent in the province throughout the entire hour. Bob Gammer, with BC Hydro says if people made changes in conserving a little energy everyday, the savings could go a long way.
