The Northern Development Initiative Trust is the recipient of some federal funding. The Minister Responsible for Western Economic Diversification ,Lynne Yelic,h was on hand this morning to announce 10 million dollars in funding under the newly-created Community Adjustment Fund.
The fund was announced last week as part of the federal stimulus package and the aim is to get people working quickly. The funding targets projects that are not already eligible for funding under alternate federal programs.
