A truck thief led police on a high speed chase in the city late this morning but has disappeared.
Constable Gary Godwin says a little before noon they received a stolen vehicle report on a 1998 blue GMC three-quarter ton diesel pick-up. An unmarked police car pursuing it was rammed on Queensway, and the truck vanished in the Costco area. There's been numerous reports of sightings around town.
If you spot this truck, now sporting fresh damage, call the RCMP.
