A spark from a welding torch caused a little excitement  in the BCR site this afternoon.

An employee at Prince george auto wrecking  was welding the back end of a vehicle that was in a pile of seven vehicles when a spark set the works on fire. City fire crews managed to douse the flames.   There were no injuries in the incident.
