A job coach who's been working with laid off forestry workers, is greeting the latest proposed changes to Employment Insurance with mixed feelings. Terry Tate is part of the Rapid Response Recovery team, established to assist impacted forestry workers. He says the proposed benefit extension will only help some of his clients however he adds, forestry workers who have already exhausted their Employment Insurance, will see no benefits. Tate says the people he deals with, would prefer a job to E.I.
