Thousands of dog lovers and their four legged friends filled parks across B-C on Saturday -- for the 15th annual paws for a cause fundraiser.The annual vent is held to raise money for the B-C S-P-C-A. Hundreds of people turned out for the walk in the city. Organizers were hoping to hit their goal of 35 thousand dollars for their local branch of the S-P-C-A and at last check were at about 20 thousand with donations still needing to be counted. Paws for a cause is the largest fundraiser for the S-P-C-A -- which depends almost entirely on public support.
