Radon is known to cause approximately 10 percent of all lung cancer worldwide, and now Northern Health is targeting the odourless, colourless gas which can lurk in your household. A new strategy is underway to raise awareness and get locals testing for radon. Northern Health is offering test kits at a reduced price,in Prince George, Vanderhoof and Quesnel.The approach is part of the Northern Cancer control strategy which is focussing on environmental cancer prevention.
