A 40 year old man was sent to Prince George Regional Hospital with a potentially life-threatening injury after being stabbed in the upper body yesterday afternoon. The incident took place around 2:30 around 7th avenue and Dominion Street. The man is now recovering in hospital. RCMP were able to arrest one male where the victim was found and a further investigation found a woman involved as well. Both suspects remain in custody while police continue to investigate. Charges have not been laid, but the RCMP are investigating the possibility of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a weapon and related offences. Alcohol was a factor in the incident. RCMP are asking for any possible witnesses to come forward.
