The University of Northern BC has reached a severance agreement with its former Athletics Director Len McNamara. McNamara has been off the job since September after word of his dismissal. The agreement provides McNamara with $120,000. No other details of the agreement are available. McNamara's replacement hasn't been named. UNBC says it is examining its sports programming and expects to put more emphasis on intra-mural activities in the future. It also says it remains committed to joining the CIS.
