City councillors will hear from the Council of Forest Industries at tonight's meeting. The delegation is asking council to adopt a wood first policy. It would see more wood being used for new projects in the city. The Mayor's Downtown Task Force is endorsing the idea. Also tonight, an update on the clean air bylaw. If approved it would regulate wood burning heating appliances, outdoor burning and dust control to enhance air quality.
