Your taxes will most likely go up again this year.The rate put forward by city administration is an increase of 3.5 percent, but added to that will be snow removal and road rehabilitation levies bringing it to 3.7 percent. Director of Corporate Services, Kathleen Soltis says they're looking at increasing road rehabilitation by 150-thousand and snow removal by 250-thousand. There are also three other requests on the table. 350-thousand for the downtown, 135-thousand for three new RCMP members and 28-thousand for the library. If all those services are approved residents could see their taxes go up even more.
