City council was back at the budget table last night. Prince George's two indoor pools are looking for an increase of 80-thousand dollars for the 2010 budget ,bringing it to a total of 2.3 million. Last year aquatics was able to save 38 thousand dollars in energy costs.Overall use for the pools was down slightly for 2009,but still much better than years prior to 2008. CN Centre and community arenas were also presented to council last night. Manager of CN Centre ,Andy Beesley ,says city arenas need a small increase of about three thousand dollars to 663-thousand for 2010.Last year CN Centre made 1.6 million dollars in revenues but expenditures were 2.3 million and are expected to increase in 2010.
