A fishing trip turned into an adventure for a couple of city teens. They went ice ice fishing on Kathy Lake in Eskers Provincial Park yesterday but stayed a little late and darkness moved in. The pair decided to hunker down for the night under a big spruce tree. Prince George Search and Rescue was called early this morning and found the 17 and 18-year-olds wet, but otherwise in good shape around 8 this morning. Search Manager Jeff Smedley says one of the young men did let a friend know where he was going ,which helped narrow down their search . He says the fishermen made the best of their situation by building a fire and cooking up some of their catch.
