RCMP have apprehended a 26 year old man accused in a series of sexual assualts in the city early yesterday morning. Police say Chad Douglas Berry was apprehended by police in the Vanderhoof area without incident. Berry was taken into custody around 5 this morning. He's expected to appear in provincial court later today. Yesterday RCMP issued a warrant for the arrest of Berry. He is facing 17 charges including three charges of aggravated assault. Two women were treated for stab wounds in connection with the incident which occurred in the 2300 block of Oak Street.
