Prince George's highest drafted WHL bantam player has been drafted once again. This time into the NHL by the Calgary Flames. Ryan Howse was selected 74th overall in the 3rd round. The Chilliwack Bruin forward had a lot of attention from Dallas and he also had a long interview with the Flames. Howse had 31 goals and 44 points this season for the Bruins. One other player with a local connection was drafted. The San Jose Sharks selected Cougar forward Marek Viedensky with the 189th selection in round 7.
