The Cariboo Cougars suffered a heart breaking loss in the BC Major Midget final. The North West Giants completed the two game sweep winning in triple overtime 5-4. The deciding goal came 4:19 into the 6th period. Michael King had a pair of goals in his final midget game for the Cougars. While Jari Erricson and Levon Johnson had the others.
